LCD CONDITION GRADING

Please check and note the condition of your LCD before removing from the device to avoid doubt.

If your LCD is still connected to the motherboard or you have a tester available, you can easily determine the condition of your LCD yourself.

GOOD LCD

ONLY BROKEN GLASS. The inner LCD screen should have no marks, no pixels missing and no imperfections on the display. Backlighting should be working perfectly.

POOR LCD

The LCD has broken glass AND shows any of the following issues with the inner display:

  • Dead pixels

  • Marks or bruising

  • Red screens or yellow edges

  • Signs of discolouration

  • Any signs of water damage

  • Backlighting issues

TOUCH/FLEX FAULT

The touch on the LCD is not working OR the flex/connector is damaged in any way.

In other words, if the LCD cannot connect to a motherboard/tester device due to flex damage, and no display appears, or the display is distorted, this points to flex/connector damage.

If the display is showing, but the touch is not responsive, or slower than usual, this points to a touch fault.

Once you have determined the condition of your LCD’s you will be able to compare them against our pricing to check how much you are eligible to get paid.

Once we have conducted our testing process, you will receive a full report via email for approval of the condition of all LCD’s we receive before any payment is made.
